This JD Cadinot film from 1989 will appeal to those who enjoy sex in the great outdoors. There are no sets, no ornate bedrooms, nothing but the forest. Adult-film actor Daniel Brown, with his clean-cut Anglo looks, is not as innocent as he appears. Danny is a car thief, and likes to seduce unwitting guys in the bushes, then run off and steal their vehicles while their pants are still down around their ankles! Sound familiar? Cadinot fans will recognize the presence of a fun, if simple storyline to accompany some very hot, and beautifully filmed sex scenes. And all of these scenes are filmed in the beautiful outdoors; a picturesque forest, or a barren camping ground with the mountains as a backdrop. Some hot scenes include sex with a motorcycle cop, a three-way in a tent with Assan Ariana, and another small and young-looking actor, who both top for Ariana, who usually played the passive role in his films. Moroccan actor Driss Rachid is featured in several scenes, playing an Army guy who has his jeep stolen by the bandit early in the film. Rachid is one of my personal favorite Cadinot stars, and only appears in one other film, "Le Coursier." He is the reason that i hunted this film down, actually. To be expected, the film ends with the victims getting their revenge on the car thief, by way of a gang rape that would impress any gymnast or contortionist! As mentioned, those with the "outdoor sex" fetish will love this film. I did miss the beautiful sets that Cadinot was known to use during this period of his career, but "La Main Au Feu/Hand In the Fire" is a fine, polished sex film, with very nice production values. and yes, this was in the time when JD Cadinot was still shooting his special movies on actual film stock. The DVD even has a choice of subtitles in 3 different languages, although honestly, they are not necessary, as there is little dialog. Recommended.
